Brevard Public Schools are educational leaders under the banner

SCHOLARSHIP
The parent of a public school student with a
disability who is dissatisfied with the student’s
progress, may request and receive from the State of
Florida, a John M. McKay Scholarship for the child
to enroll in and attend a private school or attend a
public school other than the one to which assigned,
in accordance with the rules of the State Board of
Education and with the School Board of Brevard
County’s choice plan.

Brevard Community College (BCC) serves all sections of the county with campuses in Cocoa, Melbourne, Titusville and Palm Bay. BCC also offers Open Campus, a Patrick Center branch on the air force base and classes at Kennedy Space Center expand the community-oriented school's reach. BCC The full two-year curriculum is also offered for home-based learners via WBCC TV68. BCC which maintains a strong reputation for its academic programs. University of Central Florida The closest of the state's 10 major four-year schools is the University of Central Florida University (UCF) in Orlando, which maintains a branch in Brevard County.
